The Brigham Young University-Idaho Collegiate Singers will perform with the Mormon Tabernacle Choir on Sunday, March 18 at the Tabernacle in Salt Lake City.

"We are always thrilled and grateful to perform with the Mormon Tabernacle Choir," said Randall Kempton, director of the BYU-Idaho Collegiate Singers. "It is a great honor to be invited."

The Collegiate Singers will join the Tabernacle Choir in their weekly broadcast of Music and the Spoken Word. The group will perform two pieces alone: the spiritual "I Got a Key" and "Prayer" by Rene Clausen; and two pieces with the Tabernacle Choir and Orchestra: "I Feel My Savior's Love" and "O Clap Your Hands" by Ralph Vaughan Williams.

As one of the premier off-campus performing choirs at BYU-Idaho, Collegiate Singers is comprised of some of the finest vocalists on campus. With 40 singers, the group provides audiences an exciting experience with a wide variety of musical styles and periods.

The Collegiate Singers generally tour every other year in addition to many on- and off-campus performances. In 2017, in addition to their regular concert series, the Collegiate Singers toured Wyoming.  To date this year, they have hosted a high school festival and performed Dona nobis pacem with the Symphony Orchestra. Later, the men of the choir will sing at the Priesthood Session of General Conference.
